Teisco Sharksfin 1960’s Japanese
This jaw dropping, iconic Teisco Sharksfin ,was made in Japan in the Teisco factory in the late 60’s.
It came to us need , so it has had a full Curvy Sounds Refret and set up , and a new Tremelo arm custom made with Wenge wood tip .It now plays like an absolute beast , with lovely low action!
The late 60’s Teisco pickups, have square poles and an incredibly high output .The controls give you the option to boost the bass or the treble frequency and that combined with the rare but original damper mechanism , gives this guitar huge range of sounds to draw from! And the Trem arm is really responsive , allowing you to bend and dive to your hearts content with solid intonation, and stays beautifully in tune due to the roller saddles!!
And Aesthetically its an absolute stunner, with the peaked Sharksfin horns , the striped aluminium scratch plate, vintage knobs and stylish scroll/hooked Tiesco headstock, it’s some serious eye candy!
