Curvy Sounds Rothbury Estate Appeal Raffle Tickets

This Tokai Les Paul Guitar has been customised by our Curvy Sounds founder, Andrew Mills to raise money for the Rothbury Estate Appeal. He has created a design entirely made of small iridescent pearl ovals that bloom outward from the centre of the guitar, based on a natural pattern that can be found in the centre of a sunflower, in the movement of a shoal of fish in the water, or flower petals on the surface.

The body of the Tokai is solid Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard. The dual Humbucker Wilkinson pickups each have an individual Tone and Volume control. This gives the guitar a fantastic range of tones! Whatsmore, the pearlset, resin top bonds the neck of the guitar into the body, giving the guitar exceptional sustain!

The goal of the Rothbury Estate Appeal, launched by The Wildlife Trusts, is to buy the Rothbury Estate and create a beautiful wildlife corridor across Northumberland. This would protect over 3,800 hectares of moorlands, woodlands,  hidden valleys, and part of the exquisitely beautiful river Coquet – all home to a range of rare wildlife species. These include Cuckoos, who can be heard there in spring, Merlin, Curlews, Red Grouse, Snipe, Lapwings, Skylarks, Kingfishers, Red Squirrels, Otters, Salmon, Endangered Freshwater Eels, Mountain Bumblebees, Emperor Moths, and so much more!!

We are really lucky to have been donated additional prizes by local Newcastle businesses, including gifts from The Last Resort  and Artichoke Crafts and vouchers from The Tipsy Toad, The Dog Grocers, Body Image Fitness, The Butterfly Cabinet, Smoke and Sear, The Handsome Sandwich, The Barn Door, 10ten, Quierido and Davidson Optometrists, and 1b Books.

Excitingly, the fantastic, locally based and world famous Indie Band ‘Maximo Park’ has also kindly offered, signed Maximo Park Merch, to add to the raffle prizes!

We have also been donated a gyrocopter ride over the Lake District by Tricia Trotter worth £175.

THE RAFFLE DRAW IS AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2026!
