Yamaha FG-180 Red Label Taiwanese Acoustic Guitar

Yamaha FG-180 Red Label Taiwanese Acoustic Guitar

£280.00

The Yamaha FG-180 Red Label is a vintage acoustic guitar made in Taiwan during the early 1970s. These guitars were Yamaha’s first export guitar manufactured outside of Japan and solely made in the years of 1971 and 1972. They are often highly regarded for sounding very similar to their Japanese counterparts.

Known for its “folk-country” sound and loud projection, it often has a laminate top, mahogany back/sides and, rosewood fretboard. It is a collectible and an affordable alternative to a vintage American dreadnought.

This guitar has a beautiful warm tone, is pre-loved and very well played which means it has signs of wear such as scratches, marks and dents on the body, as shown in pictures.

This beauty has a bash on every corner, but a soul all the way through.
