Description
The original Airline Guitars were made in Chicago by Valco and distributed by Montgomery and Ward from 1958-1968.They were cast out of Reso-glass and have reemerged in the public conciousness due to Jack White famously, playing a red Airline 59 in the White Stripes.
Eastwood guitars have remade these incredibly stunning and distinctive guitars in chambered Mahogany, giving an new warm, woody resonance to the Airline .The 59 with its 3 pickups ,5 way switch and 3 tone controls is an incredibly versatile guitar, with an amazing range of textures and tones.
