Description
This beautiful little Keech Banjulele was made in 1923.The Keech brothers patented the word 'Banjulele' and made it their mission to create a whole batalion of these plucky little instruments to brighten up the world. This early model has a wooden tension hoop with plate ( a Keech invension) and wooden resonator. It has a mahogany neck with Ash rim.
It has been restored by one of our excellent Luthiers Kieth Stephen, who replaced the Ebony nut, fixed the snapped headstock, replaced one Fret , gave it a new vellum and added new screws and washers, bringing this little Banjulele back from the brink and making it play beautifully once more
